    Epic Cakes is an up and coming cupcake company founded in 2012 by 12-year-old Jada Blount. The daughter of artist, Jay Blount, who also happens to be an amazing cook, has been cooking since she was six years old. What started as a way to spend quality time with her daddy in the kitchen, became Jada's biggest passion.

    In 2011, Jada's stepmother challenged her to make a boxed cake on her own. She was taught the simple steps and was told to follow the directions exactly as posted on the box, but with a few little tweaks. Her first try was an absolute success, but that wasn't enough for Jada. Not one to "do things like everyone else does them," she started to experiment by adjusting the measurements and adding to the mix. She has since developed her own ways to make signature cupcakes in amazing flavors like pumpkin spice, vanilla, chocolate pie, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and her personal favorite, cookies and cream.

    Jada, following in the awesome footsteps of her father, is a dedicated and hard-working young lady on a quest to make the best-tasting cupcakes around - in her own very original way. She has already ruined her family for any other cupcakes on the market (they simply won't bother to buy anyone else's cupcakes), and with your first bite, she is sure to ruin yours, too:).
